Young Harris College Athletics

Kelcie Matthews begins her second year as an assistant athletic trainer at Young Harris College.

Matthews, who will cover the women's volleyball and women's lacrosse programs for the Mountain Lions, was the head athletic trainer at East Hall High School prior to coming to the Enchanted Valley.

The Gainesville, Georgia, native earned both her bachelor's degree in kinesiology with a concentration in sports medicine and her master's degree in athletic training from the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, Georgia.
