YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | A full 21 matches including nine home matches at the Harp Recreation and Commencement Center highlight the 2024 Young Harris College volleyball schedule for this coming fall as announced today by the Mountain Lions.

The Mountain Lions kick off the season at the Bobcat Classic hosted by Georgia College on September 6^th and 7^th. Young Harris then opens Conference Carolinas action on Friday, September 20^th in an away match against Erskine College. Young Harris split last year's series with The Fleet 1-1.

YHC then heads back to the friendly confines of The Harp Recreation and Commencement Center for a five-game home stand. The Mountain Lions host Emmanuel College in their home opener on Saturday, September 21^st at 3:00 p.m.

Young Harris closes out September with a Conference Carolinas clash against King University on Friday September 27^th at 6:00 p.m. before battling Lees McRae College in an afternoon match on Saturday. The Mountain Lions wrap up their home stint the following week against Barton College and Chowan University.

YHC hits the road for the next two weeks for four conference matches and one non-conference bout against Shaw on October 19^th at 4:00 p.m. in Pembroke, North Carolina.

Young Harris wraps up October with four games, two on the road and two at home. The Mountain Lions welcome Shorter University for a Wednesday night matchup at 6:00 p.m. on October 23^rd. Young Harris then travels to face Belmont Abbey and North Greenville that weekend.

Southern Wesleyan visits YHC for a spooky Wednesday night matchup on October 30^th at 6:00 p.m. Next, YHC hosts Mount Olive on November 2^nd at 1:00 p.m. for its second to last home match.

Young Harris will wrap up the season with a home and an away match. The Mountain Lions will play in their home finale against Erskine on Saturday, November 9^th at 3:00 p.m. and then Young Harris hits the road for one last regular season match at Shorter University on Tuesday, November 12^th with first serve at 6:00 p.m.

Young Harris looks to improve upon its 2023 campaign that saw the Mountain Lions go (10-17) overall and (7-10) in conference for a third-place finish in the southwest division.
